Difficult to find hardware can cost you money !

If a component in your system fails and it is not possible to obtain a replacement then the options can be very often expensive. Maybe a replacement won't provide the same functionality, or the same level of technical features, or it will be necessary to upgrade the network to a later version. This can impact key areas such as network security, storage or performance.  In addition, spares holding, maintenance and support issues will need to be addressed.

It is always much easier to obtain a direct replacement and this is where we can help.

We are experts at finding products which are difficult to source through the usual channels. Just give us a part number and we will research our extensive supplier database. We call strategic suppliers, search stock lists, not only in UK but Europe, USA and Far East. We can often source End of Life (EOL) products as well by contacting suppliers and using our relationships with manufacturers.
 
By contacting us we will immediately search our worldwide database of partners and providers and can quickly determine if a product is available. Our database comprises of literally thousands of companies and by searching worldwide we can cross reference the item as well as all similar varients.

If we can’t offer a new product we may be able to offer a refurbished or used item and this, in many cases, is usually a popular solution as well as being cost effective.

This is usually an opportune time to purchase some spares so should you encounter the same problem again you can simply swap out the product with a replacement.

Legacy products by definition are either no longer available, ‘end of life’ (EOL), or are no longer supported by the manufacturer. We maintain an extensive technical library on many such products and are able to offer support or maintenance contracts to clients who have such products as part of their network. This enables extra life to be gained from such a network before extra expenditure is incurred to upgrade.

In many cases there is no direct replacement and if the equipment is not ‘mission critical’ then a simple support or maintenance contract with us can make economic sense and offer peace of mind. We offer flexible contracts, available from 3 months to 5 years.
